What are the registration fees?

Registration fees and categories are listed here: Different fees vary according to the different categories: Physicians - SUSME Member, Physician Non-Member, Non-Physician Educators, Physician Assistant, Nurse, Advanced Practice Provider, First Responder, Sonographer, Allied Health Professionals, and Students/Residents/Fellows. The payment date is also important as it affects the fees according to these periods: early, regular, and late/onsite.

What is included in the registration fees?

Registration fees for all participants include access to all sessions and the Exhibit Hall, the Opening Night Reception, continental breakfast, coffee breaks, lunches, poster sessions, and digital delegate materials.

What is NOT included in the registration fee?

Congress participants are responsible for covering all congress and travel expenses, such as airline tickets, hotel accommodation, transfer to and from the airport, dinner, etc. See inclusions above.

How do I register for the Congress?

I just registered under the student/trainee/fellow/resident and was entitled to a lower registration rate. Do I need to show document proof of my student status?

Yes. Students (all levels, including graduate or undergraduate) must send a scanned copy of a VALID student ID (pdf format) to Subject line: Student ID. Failure to provide this document may result in higher fees.

How can I register as a Member of the Society of Ultrasound in Medical Education (SUSME) and benefit from the reduced member rate for physicians?

To qualify for the reduced physician SUSME member fee, you must be a member in good standing of the Society of Ultrasound in Medical Education (SUSME). For membership enquiries, go to:

When is the early registration deadline?

The early registration deadline is April 30, 2021. The fees increase after that date

Can I register and pay later?

No. You cannot register without payment.

Is there a deadline to register for the Congress?

Participants who have a role in the program (either as invited speaker, chair, or abstract presenter) must register and pay the registration fees in full by TBD. Failure to do so will result in withdrawal from the program. Participants who will simply attend and will not take part in the Congress program can register online as per the fee schedule:

How can I pay the registration fees?

Preferred method: By credit card (VISA, MasterCard, Discover, American Express (AMEX). Electronic checks are also accepted.

Can I cancel a paid registration?

Cancellation and Refund Policy below: Participants unable to attend the WCUME 2020 will be entitled to a full refund (less 25% for administrative charges), provided that a written request is received by July 10, 2020. Email refund request to The Organizers regret that refunds will not be considered for requests received after this date. All approved refunds will be issued after the WCUME 2020 Congress on or before January 1, 2021.

Can I transfer my paid registration to another colleague?

Yes. You must contact with your cancellation and the information of the new registrant. The registration department will then be able to make the transfer.

What are the social events during the Congress?

There are 3 social events: 1) Opening Night Reception (September 17) which is included in your registration fee. Extra tickets can be purchased at $50 per person. 2) The Ovation Yacht Cruise (September 18) is not included in your registration fee. Tickets can be purchased when you register. $100.00 (Early), $125.00 (Regular), $150.00 (Late) and $150.00 for guests. 3) WCUME 2020 Farewell Dinner (September 19) is not included in your registration fee. Tickets can be purchased when you register. The tickets are $80.00 (Early), $100.00 (Regular), $125.00 (Late) and $125.00 for guests.

Which activities are open to the general public?

None. To be able to participate in any Congress activity, you must be registered to the Congress.
